I am not one to complain a whole lot, but I have to say that since we arrived, the staff at that hotel looked at us like we were crap (pardon the expression) for reasons that I do not comprehend. They decided not to make our room the first night, the next night I had to hand them the key to our room in order to get it made, and the third night we had to do the same, but the lady decided to lock us out of the room because she left with the key and didn't leave it for us (I went in through the window). Also, one day we went downstairs to have breakfast a bit late (it was 10 after 11am and they stop serving breakfast at 11am) and before we could even ask if we could have breakfast one of the ladies there told us in a really bad manner that BREAKFAST IS NOT SERVED AFTER 11! Finally, the last day, we went down to have breakfast at 10ish and my girlfriend asked for fruit. The lady said that they didn't have fruit. This was the second time in a row that they didn't have fruit so my girlfriend blurted out that they never had fruit there... what followed was the worst part of the whole experience.... the lady said THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED HOME!! Never in my life had I been treated that way so I decided to yell at her and told her that the service WAS THE WORST I HAD EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! We stormed out of there on foot with our luggage to look for a cab somewhere in town. I am sorry to say that this pretty much ruined any chance that I ever considered of going back to Roatan... the rudeness was beyond reason and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone after the entire experience.
