“Felt like home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2010

I love Casablanca. Maggie and Collins (owners) treated us girls like family. We are certainly going to miss them! They are so sweet and ready to help make your stay a great experience. We had a large apartment, hot showers, super comfy beds and A/C at night, which was amazing. We crossed the street and took the "red brick road" down to the beach (2 minute walk) everyday and sat on the dock. Bring snorkeling gear, it was fantastic. Go to "Hobbies" on the beach (West when you get down on the beach) for the best chicken wings... Mmmm. Hit up West Bay for great beach time.. and check out Coxen Hole on days when the cruise ship is in, to get some neat souvenirs.

Put Casablanca, Roatan on your list of to-do destinations. You won't regret it :)

“Best Trip Ever!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2010

It was a true joy and delight to be there! You feel very safe and comfortable. The rooms are nice and spacious. Overall just a fantastic place! we only stayed for 2 weeks but we loved it so much that we want to some down for 2 months next time. And Maggie, the owner, is fantastic! She makes you feel so comfortable right from the start:)

“Comfortable and Peaceful”

My husband and I stayed at Casa Blanca from October '07 through Dec '07. It was wonderful! Wish I was there now, sitting on our front porch sipping fresh coffee overlooking our view of the turquoise coast. The room was clean and spacious with lots of natural lighting and 2 AC units as well. We rented a 2 bedroom, one bathroom unit. During the months we stayed, the AC was rarely needed. It was so nice to have a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking.

The manager/owners made our stay exceptionally memorable. Maggie and Collins were always checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. Maggie knows everything on the Island from the inside out, so she was a real resource for us as we found our way around. Another perk was to have fresh fish and vegetables delivered to our door weekly from local farmers and fisherman.

Casa Blanca Apartments are located in a convenient location on the Island, just in between the shopping district (Coxen Hole) and the tourist district (West End and West Bay). It worked out great for us. The owners offer long term and short term rentals. We will be back to Roatan, as I've fallen in love with this beautiful Island. It's natural beauty is a lovely reflection of the people who make it home for us. Included among these kind people are Maggie and Collins Jackson, owners of the very peaceful and friendly Casa Blanca Apartments.

“Beautiful Casa Blanca”

We have been in Roatan many times. We always booked a different hotel because of small problems in all of them. We went to Casa Blanca in April 2006 and came back in April 2007, and are planning a trip for July also in Casa Blanca. Magdalena James Jackson, the owner is a beautiful person and the place is great. Its really clean and nice, the rooms have very comfortable beds, air conditioning, plenty of water, an equipped kitchen, dinning table and living room with tv-cable (kids love this). Its not in the beach, but its in beautiful Sandy Bay. We always rent a car and go everywhere we can. Roatan is a very beautiful island.

  • Liked — We felt relaxed and safe, and really comfortable.
  • Disliked — When we have to leave.
