This B&B is charming and centrally located in the heart of Ohrid. You can't beat the price or the location. The rooms are charming and functional although some of the rooms are a bit oddly shaped but that's because it's an old style Ottoman building. The hotel has free wi-fi. There is no free parking but you can park on the street relatively cheap. The room comes with free breakfast (not buffet style but very good). I ordered banana crepes and they came with fresh bananas, nutella, and creme which was very tasty and the portion very large. The view from my room was fantastic. Looking out the window at a 10th century church is quiet pleasant. And you can't beat the price! I recommend bringing ear plugs as the church bells will definately wake you up early. I would definately come back.

Very comfortable hotel inthe heart of the old town (may be hard to get to because access to the old town is controlled). This small boutique hotel has comfortable and clean rooms and are nicely air conditioned (it can get HOT here!). Breakfast is made to order - we had our served outside on the terrace. Nice sized rooms with interesting views - this is fairly modern hotel but has the look and feel consistent with the character and age of the old city. Everything you want to do is within walking distance.

We stayed here for a couple of days in July 2011. If you go to Ohrid (Macedonian side of the lake) make no mistake: this is the place to stay. The view from the hotel is beatitful beyond the the speed of light, the staff is wonderfully welcoming and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and ... we really miss the sunset and the ancient cobbled streets of Ohrid.

My husband and I just spent four nights at Villa St. Sofija in the Deluxe Apartment. It was absolute heaven. The room was huge and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view over the lake and the church St. Sophia. Zoran and Jasmina were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I sprang my lactose intolerance on them on arrival at 5 pm and Jamina still managed to transform that evening's 4 course meal into a delight. Really exceptional service! It was a bit of a surprise not to get a menu, but it turned out to be really lovely to not have to make decisions, and to just trust the chef. The trust was not misplaced - every single plate went back to the kitchen completely empty (despite the generous portions!). We will definitely be going back.
