We had the most fantastic stay at Villa Germanoff, it was the perfect location in Ohrid, the room was a good size, very clean, and the bathroom was excellent. We had some troubles with the bus company bringing us from Skopje and Villa Germanoff even drove us up to the bus station and spoke to them and helped us get another bus back the next day. They really were so very helpful, you could not want for a better hotel in Ohrid and we cannot wait to go back in the summer.

We recently styed at villa Germanoff for 9 nights. The location ( in the beautiful old part of the city, room (overlooking the beautiful lake) and service were all perfect. We arrived very late in the evening/early morning and were made to feel very much welcome. We would highly recommend Villa Germanoff to anyone visiting Ohrid....our only regret is we didn't stay longer....but we will come again definately!!!

We stayed here after a long trip to Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and the Macdeonia. This was probably our favourite hotel on the trip, and the couple running the hotel were incredibly friendly. We even got a birthday email months later, so kind.

The room itself is in the old part of Ohrid and very central to everything. It has couches, balcony, piano (it is the piano suite no less) and the rest. So nice. We paid a lot more than the norm for Macedonia, but less than Western Europe. Definitely recommended.

Great location, extremely friendly and helpful stuff, spacey rooms with superb lake view... In a word - excellent!
