I stayed at the Hotel Donco (pronounced Doncho) with a party of 28 elderly people. We had an excellent welcome on arrival and found our rooms to be cheerful, clean and more spacious than I expected. The location on a busy road is unattractive but is an easily walkable distance to the town and the lakeside. The restaurant food was well presented and the service was very satisfactory with a good choice on the menu. The meals were all enjoyable and there was an an excellent breakfast buffet. There is a cosy little bar and it was quite pleasent to sit in the reception area and drink afternoon tea. The hotel represents good value and I would have no hesitation in staying there again although I wish its location could be moved. The lady manager is superb and clearly is the person behind the hotel's high standards although the hotel's staff are all very friendly and show no hesitation in dealing with one's needs even those of slightly demanding older people. You need have no worries about staying at the Hotel Donco.
