I have just returned from a tour with Saga holidays staying here for 4 nights. ON arrival it looked odd as the outside is mostly metal, but the inside is more modern and we had a nice welcome. I shared with a friend and the bedroom was a bit small and the furniture looked like Ikea. But it was all clean and tidy. Being on the top floor we were told not to open the roof window and l did find it quite hot despite it having air con. The bath room was nice, but no where to hang any washing if you wanted to do anything, so l had to use their laundry service, which was a bit pricy. Internet was free.
On arrival we had to order our dinner and when we reached the dining room for it, they had cards printed with our room numbers and what we had odered. I found the food quite good and we had 3 choices for each course.
The hotel had a pool and if you stayed in you had the sun most of the day, but if you came back later say about 5.00, you only got the sun for about an hour in one little spot.
The pool was OK and l had a few swims to cool off, but it was not heated. Staff were all very helpful. If you wanted to go to the Lake it was about a kilometer away and easy to walk to. The only thing l wasn;t too happy with was the 'safe' use. None in your room, but you could leave them at reception, they were put in a used envelope and stapled together.
