Booked in for three nights and stayed for six. It's unique architecture and style set it apart from the other hotels in the centre of the oasis. Spacious rooms cooled by a ceiling fan and plenty of hot water. Be aware that Siwa is home to giant ants and other bugs which are hard to exclude. The Kenouz restaurant on the roof provides breakfast included and does excellent cous cous dishes as well as some specials. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with the duck. Chef is a true character and prides himself on a quirky view of history. 'Ali is an English speaking hotel employee and is very helpful. It's a lovely place and although slightly more expensive than others represents value for money for the medium budget traveller.
