My boyfriend and I stayed at the RGA from 1st Dec to the 9th Dec 2011 and stayed in room 10104.
It was a fabulous holiday, everything about it was lovely, the food in all of the restaurants was very nice especially the al la carte. I even really enjoyed the Egyptian restaurant too which I was a little nervous of trying as I’ve eaten Egyptian food before and I wasn’t to keen, but I had the lamb and it was lovely. The Italian, Chinese and Indian were all excellent too.
I’ve stayed in Egypt about 10 times now and this hotel was the best I’ve stayed in and the food was the best I’ve eaten.

Our room boy Mahmood was a good worker and our room was left spotless everyday.

Alaa the pool boy at the Lagoon pool – always very busy never seen him doing nothing he was always keeping himself busy cleaning the pool area and taken glasses back to keep everything looking very tidy.

George who worked in Lobby Bar in the old reception he was excellent very helpful and polite a great bar tender always very happy.

We liked this hotel so much I even suggested it to my parents who will be going in March for 10 days I’m very jealous about this as I would love to go.

You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel.

“Amazing <3”

Sad to say me and my boyfriend have just arrived home after an amazing 10 day stay in The Royal Grand Azure. Absolutely beautiful place and the hotel is just perfect with so much to choose from; from the pools, restaurants, and also the facilities the hotel provides for example shuttle buses into Naama Bay everyday. It was our first holiday and everything was more then what we could have ever wanted, our room (Deluxe double) which was massive.! was located by the heated pool, which as a young couple we loved. Everything was on our door step, and if we wanted a quiet walk we had the whole complex ( which is quite big) to stroll around. Cannot fault the food, I have defiantly gained a few pounds :)!. However I couldn't resist the selection of foods they provided from the le'carte restaurants to the World of Cuisines.!! which I would highly recommend.!! The waiters and chefs are so attentive and accommodating, giving them a tip now and then does help if you would like your drinks brought to your table. However cannot fault their service, we stayed in the over 18's restaurant which is recommended if you don't want kids running around. We also had lunch sometimes at the beach bar which was a nice getaway now and then. Well.. now on to the entertainment.! haha amazing animation team, made really good friends with them all - Kristina I hope you enjoyed your toiletries.! There really social and include you in everything, the hotel defiantly need to put more money into their production as their capable of doing things so much more bigger.!! Also the waiters in the lobby bar are brilliant.! Always had a good laugh :)!. We went into soho square for a night and I would defiantly recommend it, they say its expensive however it isn't, no pestering or hassling which is just luxury.! Makes you want to buy things.! we also did quad biking and snorkelling which was really good too. One more thing, the photographer outside the lobby bar is amazing I got some lovely long lasting photos of me and my boyfriend which was just beautiful. Highly recommend.!!! Excellent facilities, very clean hotel and grounds, nice pools and gardens. Very helpful and accommodating Staff, special mention to Allah (F&B manager) and Tarek Zodiac Resteraunt manager, for attentiveness to ensure decent wine available!
The location is good and only 10 min ride from the main Namma Bay area. All inclusive is very good, however the 'rules' for Resteraunt opening from 7 am was not ideal when going out early on trips/diving and only a coffee/ light snacks required! Beware of jewelry shop in hotel (NOT owned by hotel) Royal Jewelry(Ahmed mohammed amed). *Ensure you check weights of gold/hallmarks and stones before and after purchase if you have to have items sent for sizing/ customising to ensure you get the same piece you looked at, ours was swapped for a cheaper/lighter piece and same price so we rejected it so beware! Overall excellent hotel, clean rooms and facilities very friendly staff, we would definately come back again!

Hotel is lovely and clean with excellent staff who work very hard. The facilities are slightly above average for the rating of hotel. The food is good with plenty to choose from and the a la carte restaurants are excellent. However, some of the all inclusive rules are sometimes petty with no coffee available free at the lobby bar in the early morning but is available downstairs in the restaurant.

My only gripe would be the quality of the wine being poor which was resolved after a complaint to the rep. The food and beverage Manager, Alla, was brilliant he was able to resolve any concerns we had. We would also like to thank Tarek (Zodiac) restaurant for the good service he and his team provided.

Entertainment was on average for most hotels in Egypt so don't expect too much.

Overall a great hotel to stay in so get it booked!

Stayed at RGA for one week in January. I have stayed in many hotels in Sharm but this has to be top of my list. The hotel itself and grounds are beautiful and well cared for, having a variety of pools and restaurants there is something to please everyone. The staff are so hardworking and are so welcoming and this is what makes this hotel. Mahmood at the main pool was there to greet us with a smile every morning and the restaurant boys work tiredlessly to keep their areas clean. Mohamed,karim and samir from the old reception bar worked hard at keeping our glasses full and that was a challange in itself!! well done boys. Also Karreme bobosh christine and manchester from animation kept us amused day and night. Sad to leave but have to come home to go back and we have already booked ........ yippppeeeeeeee see you all soon
