Tiny hotel right in the heart of Trogir--finding it is a bit of a challenge. Simple, bright, clean rooms. Photos on the hotel website are accurate. Nothing fancy, but comfortable, clean, and convenient. Food is plus/minus.

It is a shame that someone has not given the place a quick makeover and thrown out the artificial flowers, pine benches and faded red and orange check beach cafe decor (which extends even to the bedrooms).The people are very pleasant but calling this 3 star is misleading.The list of improvements needed is long if it is to be worth the £80 or so a night . We came from Hvar which is supposed to be expensive but in fact seems cheaper than Trogir which is much more touristy.
There is no excuse for artificial orange juice for breakfast.The coffee was good though.
It has air conditioning but no lift and the rooms are clean with poor decor. There may not be many places to stay in the old town and so perhaps this is how the price is justified.
Look hard at what else is available.

We found this hotel on the internet and took a chance that it would be as charming as the website photos suggested.

We were not disappointed. During our 3 day stay in Trogir we enjoyed cheerful service from all the staff in the hotel. The hotel room we stayed in "Vis" was large, clean and had a nice bathroom with a large window (great air circulation).

Breakfast was served on an enclosed patio draped with vines and the coffee was superb (assuming you like strong espresso).

The owner gave us a great suggestion on a day trip to an island nearby that she used to go to as a child, and by our last day we we enjoyed a relaxed conversation with her over a glass of wine.

We would not hesitate to go back to this hotel - due to its location (Trogir should not be missed) and due to the way we were made to feel completely welcome and at home.

Hotel Tragos is a great hotel in the heart of historic Trogir. We spent a night there with a large family group (we pretty much had the whole hotel booked). Every room was excellent: clean and spacious. They arranged airport pickups and luggage transport for us as well. Breakfast was good and pleasant on their outdoor patio. We loved the old town and waterfront atmosphere. Beware that you do have to walk in to the hotel, but that is part of the charm.
