We booked the hotel late at night, by phone from Dubrovnik and had language difficulties with the night staff so they weren't expecting us when we arrived but the day staff, with impeccable english and great efficiency, sorted it all out and made us feel most welcome.
We stayed three nights and were very comfortable. We had a "superior room" which was still a little small for two people and luggage however the bathroom was large and more than adequate. The hotel is under the flight path of Split airport (6 km away) but with double glazed windows we were aware but not disturbed by the noise. There is a 24 hour bakery next door and a supermarket 50 metres down the street,so we bought food and dined on our little balcony. It was very pleasant. Another night we walked the 250 metres, across the bridge, to the old city and dined at one of the many beautiful restaurants. We have an excellent continental breakfast,in the hotel but there was girl on hand to cook if required .We hired two motor scooters off the hotel and spent a lovely morning touring the island. On return it was noticed that an indicator lens was broken. The manager quizzed the mechanic who said it was already broken. We were impressed by their honesty. When we left they provided a car to take us to the airport which was very convenient and slightly less than a taxi. A well run family business with friendly staff. Would stay there again.
