There was absolutely nothing I could fault about this hotel.
From the hotel staff who ran outside and physically bagged a parking bay for us, to the room with a view right across the channel to the old town. The rooms were newly renovated and fully equipped, and the dining room, in which we had an excellent breakfast buffet was delightful with the feel of a continental cafe.
The location is superb -- just a five minute walk from the old town where you can eat, drink, explore, relax and people watch. The receptionist was particularly helpful in pointing out places of interest we might like to visit while we were staying there.
The view was the biggest draw card. The moment we arrived we threw open the double glazed windows and shutters and let the noises of the sea and the town wash in. We were a little sorry we didn't have the foresight to close them before we went to sleep though, as the church bells at dawn were quite a rude awakening.
There were quite a few stairs, but thankfully someone bought up my 15kg suitcase so unlike in some smaller hotels, I didn't have to lug it up myself.
If you are going to Trogir, don't stay anywhere else. This small hotel with about 8 rooms is all you need and more than you expect.
