I stayed for a few days in November with my wife. The weather was beautiful and the hotel has excellent location with magnificent seaside panorama and it is within walking distance to the old town. Road signs to the hotel could be more frequent but there is nice private parking and lot of possible activities even in low season. The hotel itself is very clean with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with impeccable service. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room with very good selection of food and beverages.

Stayed for a week in late June. The hotel very clean and staff very friendly and helpful.Worth paying the extra for the sea view as detailed by other travellers reviews. Very modern and contemporary although some areas of the hotel exterior could do with some maintenance. Good selection of food at breakfast and dinner. Overall a good standard of hotel. Well situated for visiting Rovinj 15-20 min flat walk. Rovinj very similar to Sorrento, cobbled streets and lanes to explore, but beware the cobbled stones are very slippery dry or wet.Easy access to visit Venice, long day but gives a taster. The Croatians are very friendly and welcoming people and the cost of living is reasonable, about four pounds for a pizza. Will definitely return.

One of the best locations for a hotel I have stayed in. A romantic ten min walk to the old town with beautiful views.
Usually when on holiday we dont like to eat in hotels, as we like to try all the local cusine instead of hotel food. I cant be more wrong on this occasion, the food here is restaurant quality indeed, we stayed for 14 nights and ate there around 5 times as we still wanted to see and taste the true Rovinj. The food was fresh and of high quality lots of fish dishes and meats to choose from every night.
Even though the food is reat do venture into the town and try some of the local food. The Istrian style stew is to die for and the locals will love you for trying it. Its meat cooked for hours till its so soft served in its juices with pasta! Another great dish to try in any of the local places would be the fish platter for two.
All in all this is a beautiful gem of a place, perfect for everyone.
Ps dont forget to take your free trip over to 'Red Island', which is run from the hotel.

Spent a week there in October, wonderful seaside suite on the SW corner of the building, unobstructed panoramic view of the harbor, Old Town, and the Adriatic beyond. Breakfast was anything you might want, well presented, in a beautiful dining room.

And the national park immediately south of the hotel is fantastic for walking (also biking, running, swimming, etc)

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the front desk people occurred for me as kind of uninterested and clueless. Eg, me: "Know any good restaurants nearby?"; front desk: "No, they're all closed, the season's over." (completely untrue, everything was still open). Me: "Where can I get some walking poles?" front desk: "No where around here, maybe in Pula." (there's a mall 5 minutes away with an Intersports Store that sells them).

And we had to get after them to get our 1 day laundry back after 2 days.

But I would stay there again, and recommend it to others. At 69E/night, incl breakfast, I can't remember when I got a better value anywhere.
