“Views are stunning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the harbour which was stunning ! The room was very large and clean and the beds ( 2 singles put together ) were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the square where all the cafes and restaurants are and at the foot of the hill below the beautiful church.
The bus station is probably 1km away, but it's flat so no problems with your luggage. If you come by car you can enter the old town to drop of your cases then park about a 5 minute walk away. Just walk to the pier in front to get to other islands.
The breakfast is fantastic, probably one of the better ones we had in Croatia. Free Wi/Fi, no tea/coffee facilities except at breakfast.
Having said this I must add that we changed rooms, as our first room was very small, old and looked out onto the next wall. So maybe try to book a room with a view or balcony if you want something a little bigger.
Service at the desk was great and very welcoming. I would stay again no problems and would probably stay longer than just 4 days next time.
Rovinj is gorgeous !!

Room Tip: Room with a balcony or a seaview room are worth it !

“Nice hotel in the lively center of Rovinj”

Nice hotel, clean rooms, good-working airco. Friendly staff. You can order eggs any style for your breakfast.
Located in the lively center of Rovinj, in the pedestrian-only area at the harbour, with plenty of restaurants and cafes at hand. The entrance to the old city with the narrow and steep streets is right around the corner. Boats for excursions leave from the pier in front of the hotel.
Because of the pedestrian zone, the car park is a 10 min. walk away, but the city allows hotel guests to enter the pedestrian area to drop off or pick up their luggage. For the rest we didn't use our car because everything is in walking distance of the hotel.

“Excellent location - very good service - nice rooms - noisy in summer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

Very positive on all aspects. Best location. Beautiful architecture. Large rooms. Clean and very nice receptionists (which is rare in Croatia). Some downsides: noisy in the summer because of music played outside and no sound-proofing windows and no self-service coffee for breakfast in the morning (you have to beg for one extra cup of coffee).

“Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 June 2011

Stayed here May 2011.

My room (double room for single) was small and looked on a whall - but it was cheap. I was travelling with brother and his girlfriend and they were given a corner suite for a normal double room price - so I didn't mind suffering so they had a great room, as I'd been to Rovinj before (Hotel Eden). We just dropped in at 7pm one night and they could accommodate us so we booked.

the location was brilliant
the staff were great - especially Evaline
the breakfast was pretty good

Parking was a little walk away, but that's not an issue for younger people and you could drive to the hotel and drop your luggage of so no problem

All in all, I'd stay there again and can't complain

“Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

My hubby and I chose the Adriatic Hotel to celebrate a significant wedding anniversary and we made the right choice.

From start to finish this was a memorable stay, we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was huge with two windows overlooking the harbour and another the main square. During our week there we had a concert just outside the window, a German film set in the square and Roman Abramovich's yacht in the outer harbour.

Rovinj is a beautiful place with winding streets and interesting shops and galleries. Many restaurants to eat at, most of them reasonably expensive, all but one of our meals was value for money and good quality. If you have any sort of appetite then avoid Ulika as the portions are 'mouse sized' and very pricey. Lovely restaurant but don't be tempted unless you're not hungry.

The 'beaches' are all rocky and stony so take sturdy plastic shoes if you want to venture into the sea. We liked Red Island.....be prepared for the odd naturist sunbather. There's more beach past the Park Hotel with stunning views of the old town.

We visited Pula by coach from the local bus station it took about thirty five minutes and it was worth the trip to see the amphitheatre and the old town.

We hope to go back sometime and wouldn't stay anywhere but the Adriatic for it's marvellous location and wonderful staff.
