Melita is an excellent host who works hard to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Her B&B is well kept and clean and is located about a mile from the centre of Rovinj, a pleasant walk for those who don't have a car (although Melita will probably offer to drive you). Breakfast is buffet style, is taken in a courtyard and and our room had a/c, ensuite and a balcony. There is the convenience of a large supermarket and bus-stop nearby.

We had intended to stay at Villa Melita for two nights but liked it so much we stayed for a third night. The property is beautiful and not too far from the center of Rovinj, about a five-minute drive. Everything is immaculate and our room was beautifully furnished and air conditioned. On our rooftop terrace we could sit in the sun in the morning or watch the lights of the city at night. Breakfast was served for an additional fee per person but was well worth it, as there were many options and everything was nicely prepared. Melita is a charming hostess who was happy to advise us on local restaurants and beaches. Prices seemed very reasonable, and we will definitely go back there again if we have a chance.
