Walking to Plitvice Lakes, great value 45/night. Clean and comfortable alpine type lodge.

My friend and I stayed at the Knezevic Guest House for one night in August 2011 after visiting Plitvice Lakes. We had a very nice twin room with en suite bathroom. Overall, we both thought that the guest house was great value for money. There were certainly 'no frills', but this was fine as we used the guest house as a place to rest our tired bodies after a day of walking around the Lakes. In terms of it's location, Knezevic is about a 10 min walk from the entrance to the national park (make sure you ask the owner for the short cut directions!), which is just stunning.

We didn't have breakfast at Knezevic as we had previously been advised that it was npot worth the extra 5 euros charged. Having said this, I saw the breakfast being served in the dining room and it did look very nice.

Overall, we would recommend Knezevic guest house for any one who is looking for a basic, but clean and friendly, place to lay their head after a day of trekking around the Plitvice lakes.

This B&B is very close (5 min) drive to Plitvice Lakes. The people are helpful, nice, and friendly. I left my car lights on and the woman who was working, came up to our room and told me. Saved us from a dead battery. That was really nice of her.

Room was clean and price was inexpensive. A room fan would of been nice. Breakfast was good. Would recommend.

The hotel came recommend and we found it a very pleasant place to stay. We had to hold the shower in our hand because the wall mount was broken but otherwise it was clean and the shower hot and good. We had dinner at a place across the treat which was fun and had interesting local color. Not expensive but satisfying and good beer.
