We found the Knezevic guest house to be well located, just a few minutes drive from the park entrances.
The room was small, and the ensuite even smaller. The towels were the smallest I have ever encountered in years of travelling. It was however very clean and modern and comfortable. You would not however want to spend more than one night there as there is no communal living area and the rooms are small!
We paid 10 euros each for a meat/fish plus salad dinner, which was fine. You can buy drinks including beer or wine to have with dinner. We paid a further 5 euros each for breakfast which was basically bread jam bit of meat and cheese and tea/coffee. Not that flash.
The lady in charge is not overwhelmingly friendly but ok.
Best of all, the place is non smoking throughout.
The lakes of course are just beautiful, really out of this world, and so worth seeing.
