“Loved The Small House”

It was cold and rainy night when we arrived and the fire in the house was giong on, it was amazing, and I really liked it.
Place is on a walking distance form the Lakes and from the busstop, village is quite with no trafic.
House was very clean and lady of the house was excellent, we spoke for 2 hours and she explaine all to us. Gentelman of the house was speaking only german, but we manage to understain somehow, or he would call lady on the phone and she would speak with us.
We stayed there in the house for 3 nights, and for 1 night we took room in another house (since our flight was canceled and the house was no longer free). It was also clean but the price was just 100 kunas lower.
Breakfast was good, we had everything.
If travelling in 2 price of the house is higher, but if travelling in 3-4-5 there is no diference in price between the house and the rooms in sorrounding area.

we stayed in the small house on the property. the price that was originally quoted via email was changed and increased by 100 kuna when it was time to leave. this house is heated by a wood stove that you must keep going yourself. it causes the house to smell like smoke and was very difficult to breath and caused our eyes to burn. It was clean and the breakfast was ok.

lots of other similiar and less priced places to stay in the immediate area.

“very friendly, clean and peaceful place to stay”

We have been there in October 2006, and have stayed in a bungalow runned by Krizmanic Family in a small village of Rastovaca which is just 400m from Entrance to the Park and from the National Restaurant Licka Kuca.
It was very clean and comfortable. Owners were very frinedly and they told us everything about this beautiful National Park and about sorrounding. We planed to stay for 2 nights but stayed 4 nights.
Lady of he house is fluent in english, german and italian, but can also speak spanish and french so it was very charming listening how she menage to do all that.
