Beautiful old villa converted into an intimate hotel and restaurant.
Luxurious rooms, perfect sized swimming pool set in a lovely garden over-looking the coast. We stayed for 2 nights but easily could have spent 4 days here happily hanging out by the pool and exploring the near-by towns.
We enjoyed the food in the restaurant, especially dining out on the terrace.The massage treatments were superb and the room was spacious.
The only thing we missed was a communal lounge area for evening drinks and relaxing. This would have made it perfect.

“Villa Turned Hotel is Wonderful”
This hotel is located on the eastern side of the Istrian pennisula, next to Italy. It is a former villa converted into a 6 room hotel, each room with a separate balcony. Ther property is right beside the Adriatic Sea and has its own swimming pool. The Adriatic is swimmable, but the shore is rocky/pebbly.
We stayed here two nights and the facilities are wonderful. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast (included) was varied and delicious. The restaurant serves modern tasteful cuisine (too bad - I was hoping for food the locals eat.). The staff is very willing to assist you with any matter.
This is the comfortable kind of hotel that makes you want to stay there all day rather than go offsite. It's clean, shaded, and relaxing. There's a 12 km paved path that follows the coast just behind the hotel. However, if you leave a window open, you might get a mosquito. Bring some DEET just in case.
I loved this place and would consider returning just to stay there, despite its relative remoteness.
