In the centre of Korcula town, few meters from the ultraclear sea and along the most beautiful street of Korcula town - you can find Roberta's Guesthouse.
It's an old townhouse with a history of 200 years.
Roberta Maricic-Kondenar inherited the house from her grandmother. The funiture are old, you have to share the bathroom and the kitchen, but what you got is really a homey feeling in a house with full of history.
There are two triple rooms and two doubles. Steps are quite steep. Only one room has a balcony, but the top floor room has small windows. Lying in bed you have really a picture postcard view with palmtreesand the ships and boats in the west harbour.
I spent in the top floor room for 3 nights and one night in a room with a balcony. There are old photos of the family hanging on the walls. No a/c, but fans in every room.
Roberta herself is a great lady! She really makes you feel that you are welcome and does everything to help you and give you tips where to eat and what to see.
As I travelled solo, I paid in September 150 kunas per day, that's a pretty good deal!
Couldn't wait to return to Korcula!
