We stayed 10 nights in July/August, loved the fantastic view - it was so good we couldn't bothered going out at night after eating, brilliant for self catering + cheap as chips especially for Hvar,we paid 60 Euros a night including aircon. Excellent value alternative to Hvar's pricey options.Friendly owners.

I stayed in the smaller studio apartment for 3 nights in June 2010. We wished we could have stayed longer: Natasa was the perfect host, picking us up from the bus station and showing us around, she is lovely. The studio is small and simple but ideal for a romantic budget break in Hvar: other accommodation and hotels are way over-priced and don't give you the personal, unique stay that Apartments Badoljo does. Every detail is looked after in the apartment, it was beautifully clean, and the cherry on the cake was the fantastic and huge balcony with sun loungers looking out over Hvar harbour and the islands.

I couldn't fault the apartment and would thoroughly recommend it for a great value stay over anywhere else in Hvar.

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days. It has excellent location, couple of minutes up the steps from the main square. It has excellent views over the Hvar bay and Pakleni otoci. There is a large terrace that belongs to this apartment from where the views can be enjoyed. We loved spending time on it in the mornings before going to the beaches and in the evenings. There were many towels provided as well as good toilet paper, soap and even ear sticks! (I only found this in 4 star hotels so far). Kitchen is fully equipped and self catering possible. We opted for no cooking and ate in nearby restaurants. The owners recommend several restaurants where locals go and we were very happy with the food.
I have to add that the shower works very well and there are no problems that previous reviewer experienced. It has been repaired or replaced with the new one.

There are around 70 something steps to the apartment entrance if going by Park hotel, but there is other way to get to this house, which includes only few steps in slightly steep street (going pass the cathedral to the market and up the street behind the market). This route takes around 5-7 minutes, while the step only route takes around 2-3 minutes (for us). This house is next to the old town wall.
The owners were very helpful and friendly.
I would recommend this accommodation to singles/couples who like to be near the center but in peaceful place with amazing views.

Apartment Badoljo in the island of Hvar was my second self catering apartment during my six week journey to Croatia. Stayed there for 5 nights in the middle of May 2008.

Came there from Split by catamaran.

Badoljo is situated in the old part of the Hvar town called Gojava. Lots of steps from the harbour, counted about hundered. Quite a big job to carry or drag the heavy luggage, but it was worthed.

The studio was cute with blue-yellow decoration, same colours matched even in the beautiful cups and plates :)

The studio has really a big terasse with a great view to the Pakleni islands and to the sea.

In the studio there is a doublebed and a pullout sofa, the mattress was quite hard. There were lots of towels and also the soap was provided, which doesn't happen always in Croatia.

The owner Natasa Caric was helpful and lovely lady.

Only negative thing was the leak of the water pressure in shower and sometimes water changed to boiling hot. That was really unpleasant!
