Bacan has everything you need for a fantastic stay in Cavtat. I stayed in Apartment 6 and I was sorry to leave my little home on the last day. The airport transfer is a great service and Anton makes you very welcome. On check in he provided a map and pointed out the supermarket, walkway into the main town, etc. which was great to get my bearings.

All the essentials were provided (kettle, microwave, hob, pots, plates, etc.) and the apartment was spotless when I arrived. The lady who cleaned my apartment was lovely and I had fresh towels several times during the week. A clean sponge and washing up liquid is provided which I really liked and a small selection of green tea/coffee lets you have a cuppa right off your flight (although I couldn't find any english teabags in the town!). The supermarket is 2 mins walk away and the town 5 mins. The bus to Dubrovnik stops right across the road. One of the things I loved about the apartments was the libary in reception - many books (e.g. Marian Keyes, Maeve Binchy, Harlan Coben, John Grisham) are provided so you really don't need to waste any valuable luggage kilos with holiday reading!

Everyone mentions the hill and yes, some evenings you wish for a little golf buggy to take you up, but after a couple of times it gets easier. I put a few pics up just so people can see it's not that bad! It's definitely not a reason to miss out on these fantastic apartments. I'm already wondering if I can fit in another week on the other end of my round-the-world trip!

Just back home after our second visit to the Bacan Apts in Cavtat. Antun is an exceptional host and nothing seems too much trouble. Our apartment was cleaned daily and the towels were changed at least 4 times in our 7 day holiday! We stayed in room 1 which is on ground floor and is well stocked with everything you require to self cater. Antun will soon sort out anything extra you may require if you need it. There is a small busy supermarket just 50m away and the bus stop to Dubrovnik is right outside the apartment block.The hill back up from Cavtat town is still as steep but our second stay was just as great as last year. Back again in 2012 i think

We stayed here for one night before flying from Dubrovnik. The apartment was clean, easy to find and the checking in was very easy. The apartment itself was fairly basic but had everything you'd need (microwave, stove etc). We walked into Cavtat (5 minutes walk, steep downhill but easy to find). The owner took us to the airport himself at 6.30am, I think it was about 70 kuna - whatever it was, it was very reasonable. Short but great stay!

We stayed for 3 nights atBacan apartments after a 2 week holiday in Dubrovnic and the island of Lopud.
Our stay at Bacan was a way of easing us towards the airport for our flight home but it turned out to be so much more.
First of all Anton was the perfect host - let me use his computer to check e mails-gave us lots of information about the area.
The apartments wwere spotlessly clean. I wasn't expecting them to be serviced daily-they even provided teabags and had a library of books for exchange.
