Just back from a week at Zvrko apartment . Spectacular view across the bay to Dubrovnik from balcony and apartment very clean and homely. Jadranka made us feel very welcome on our arrival with lots of good local information provided over a glass of homemade wine. Throughout our stay we were made to feel at home and nothing was to much trouble for the family including lifts up the hill from Cavtat when weary from a busy day of sightseeing and swimming. Pool was excellent, supermarket very close and Cavtat itself a lovely town. Dubrovnik by boat for a day trip is a must.Jadranka also arranged a hire car for us to go to Montenegro and suggested best places to visit.

We returned from 10 nights spent at the Zvrko Apartments yesterday, Sept 18th. The hospitality of our hosts Jadranka & Paula is unbeatable. Friendly advice & information, lifts up the hill from Cavtat town,gorgeous home made cake & cherry brandy!
The view from our balcony was spectacular, our accomodation extremely spacious, well equipped & clean.
The supermarket is a 2 minute walk & Cavtat is full of great cafes & restaurants, its a steep walk down so the lifts back up were extremely welcome.
Flash the dog even made sure we didnt get homesick...

Have just returned from a wonderful weeks spent at Zvrko Apartments. The accommodation was more than expected as Jadranka had given us her own apartment which had a nice shady balcony with the wonderful views out to sea, and Dubrovnik in the distance. Jadranka and Paula were so helpful, When we went out for the day we only had to give a quick phone call and one of them would be down in the car, to the arranged pick up point, to drive us back to the house. A lovely trip was arranged for us, and others, to a local village to see traditional dancing. Jadranka drove us there and picked us up later at an arranged time. The airport transfers were also included. All this was done out of the goodness of their hearts.
We had a nice meal cooked by Monika. We lazed by the lovely pool taking in the breathtaking view. We will always remember this wonderful holiday. Cavtat is so special I do hope it stays that way.

Its not that I would not recommend these apartments, as they are lovely, but if I was to visit Cavtat again I would give up the views and stay in apartments that are not on the surrounding mountains of Cavtat.

Having read amazing reviews on these apartments I was very excited about our stay. However, I didn’t think they were amazing they were just ok. The rooms were clean, but dated, which was okay with us. But I found that most apartments in Cavtat were all quite dated.
The view is amazing but, with those comes a very steep cliff/hill. Me and my partner are young and could just about make it walking up the very steep hill twice a day in the heat.
Jardranka kindly offered us lifts but we never did, not sure why, I guess we liked the challenge. She did question why we never did. I think you need to hire a car staying at these apartments.
There were never enough sun-lounges or chairs around the pool, the families were hogging them all day every day! Which was quite annoying.
The bus stop to go to the city is not near the apartments. Its about a 15min walk on a motorway, they don’t seem to have pavements in Croatia. That was also hot and dangerous to do, especially in the pitch black of night. My partner and I are not old enough to hire a car.
It seemed that you only got special treatment if you are the type of people who like to spend all day every day sitting at the pool rather than exploring the place.
It was very kind of Jardranka to take us too and from the airport and she gave us lots of info on arrival. She’s very down to earth and all her family are polite and helpful; when you can find them.
The apartments are about a 20min walk down to the centre of Cavtat. The centre of Cavtat can be quite noisy at night.
Dubrovnik is a great city to explore, go up on the cable car and eat lots of ice-cream, its well worth it!
Cavtat is a lovely place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik and surrounding islands.
