Nice hotel located on the nice beach.Like all other beaches it is crowded during summer.We have stayed in the sea view apartment on the second floor.It was very spacious - an entry hall, a living room and two bedrooms with bathrooms.The two sea view balconies had spectacular view over the beach.

After trying some appartments in Baska we needed a risk-free accomodation and only Zvonimir had vacancy. Not by chance - it is absolutely overpriced. OK, it has an excellent location on the promenade few steps from the beach, rooms are clean. Breakfast is poor and no service is included in the EUR 250 room price. You have to pay extra for the parking, for the sunbeds and umbrella on the beach, the sauna. But again, if you dont want to spend 1 week on Krk and do not want to reserve months ahead that is your only good option.

The reception staff was very helpful. The hotel is clean. It hasn’t got any facilities (fitness, pool, spa…) and therefore hugely overpriced. The beach was nicely setup and organised but the quality of the sea water was questionable. The rooms are very bare and simple. The breakfast was very poor, as so the hotel restaurant.

Hotel Zvonimir is probably the best place you can stay in Baska on the island of Krk. It is a perfect place for a summer holiday as well as for a spring or autumn break.
The room was spacious, well furnished and equipped and immaculately clean. So were other areas of the hotel. My room had a great view overlooking the sea and the beach which is just few steps from the hotel.
Restaurant is really cozy and the food is fantastic. Great choice of meals during buffet breakfast and dinner.
Service was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful long pebbly beach is located right in front of the hotel and spreads all along Baska. I was there in September so there weren’t too many people, but I heard during the peak of the season the beach can be pretty crowdy. You can avoid it by visiting some less popular beaches. There are taxi boats taking you there or you can walk. Baska is known as a great place for hiking as there are about 30 miles of marked hiking paths. You can get a hiking map in the tourist office or in the hotel.
Right next to the hotel there is a wellness centre with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, massage and beauty centre. I have tried pools and sauna and it was very nice.
Baska is a nice charming place with many café bars, restaurants and little shops. It can be a good place as a base to explore the island of Krk which is connected with the mainland by a spectacular bridge. I would recommend visiting the town of Krk and the town of Vrbnik.
