We stayed here after bailing out on another property due to trying to be scammed. This hotel is definitely a leftover from past times. It's a large complex and if that's your thing, then fine. Not mine though! We found the room very standard and OK. It was clean and staff were nice. Yet, it's a very three-star type hotel. There are tons of low-end travellers in the place, mostly from Eastern Europe. It seemed like a destination for mostly Czechs and Slovaks (I'm Slovak) as well as Polish travellers. The breakfast room was a zoo and the food horrible. This soured us on the place generally and we couldn't wait to get done with breakfast, check-ou and leave. My bigges quipe is that Baska in general was pretty horrible. Not a destination worth going to. The beach is OK but everything else is really so tourist oriented and lower end travellers are the norm. Restaurants all serve the same food and it's overpriced and horrible. There's really nowhere to go except for the beach promenade. We spent one day and took off quickly for much nicer areas, like the island of Pag.

Hotel Corinthia is a complex of (I think) three different hotels named Corinthia I, II and III. I have stayed in the central building Corinthia I.
This was a fine three star hotel, nicely furnished and very clean. Only I didn’t get a nice view from the room, so make sure you ask the sea view if that matters to you.
The food in the restaurant was a buffet style for both breakfast and dinner. It was a very good choice of meals and very tasty.
Service was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful long pebbly beach is located about 100m form the hotel and spreads all along Baska. I was there in June so still there weren’t too many people, but I heard during the peak of the season the beach can be pretty crowdy. You can avoid it by visiting some less popular beaches, among which are clothing optional. There are taxi boats taking you there or you can walk. Baska is known as a great place for hiking as there are about 30 miles of marked hiking paths. You can get a hiking map in the tourist office or in the hotel.
The hotel’s annex is a beautiful wellness centre and spa with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, massage and beauty centre. I have tried pools and sauna and it was very nice.
Baska is a nice charming place with many café bars, restaurants and little shops. It can be a good place as a base to explore the island of Krk which is connected with the mainland by a spectacular bridge. I would recommend visiting the town of Krk and the town of Vrbnik.
Hotel Corinhia I is a good value for the money.

Hotel Corinthia ia a great complex on the beach (beautiful sea but crowded beach in August) composed of three different bildings: Corinthia 1 / 2 / 3.
Corinthia 1 is perfect: just renewed and fully furnished.
Corinthia 2 is ok but it would need a little bit of renewall; it is just a little old but still ok. Maybe hairdryer and aircondition in room would be suggastable
Corinthia 3 is terrible: old, not so much clean, little furniture in room
We were first assigned one room (triple room for 4 people) at Corithia 3 but we refused to sleep in there for another night so we were moved to Corinthia 2 the following day without paying anuthin extra.
Only Corinthia 1 is just a little bit more expensive

Restaurant is ok: good food, good place, great variety of food to chose from
Pool: wonderful: there is a beautiful SPA area inside, beautiful swiming pool inside , more than beautiful pool area outside with special area for kids too.
Good staf and bar too.
Perfect location near the beach and town center.

KRK is a beautiful place for a holiday: still affordable, many wonderful beaches, many good reastaurants : sort of romantic place with characteristic town / village with the adition of some good services for families and children.
And as already said, the sea and the beaches are superb

Many taxi-boats can take you to the most far-away beaches ( if you don't want to walk to) just paying little money.

Nudist camp near the town center but you may also find some nudists on other public beaches too

Dont go to Baska (Krk) and stay at Hotel Corinthia. And i f you are Norwegian dont travel with World Travellers.
We did only have problems with World Travellers and they local guide.
Baska is a small place where you walk the same street and meet the same pepole every day. All the resturants have the same food. fish, meat, pasta and pizza
The hotel is old but okay.
There is nothing do to there, boring)
