Expedia referred it so booked into the Rime Garden on the evening of Thursday, October 20th and should have ran when I drove up that dark hill. The lobby was warm, friendly, well lit, and the staff member was helpful. Was told I was going to go to Building 2, through the parking gate. Again, there is where I should have ran. Got through the gate and drove up the very dark, DARK, hill around the other buildings to Building #2. Parking lot was very dark and it was just a scarey place. Got the room door open and still do not know why I went into the room. It was an old, outdated, smelly, 1970s setting with sparce furniture and bare walls. The air conditioning closet had rat sticky boards in the floor and a big hole in the wall I guess to just invite the critters in. The bedroom was again dark and furnished by the decorators of a very poor college quality apartment complex. The bathroom was just that, had its share of mold in the corners and when the guys upstairs were smoking in there room the smoke smell was coming into the bathroom through the air vent. No soap, no amenities AT ALL. In short that was $90 wasted on a bed that was not even comfortable. Thank God it was just one night.

Thank you for your review, as we appreciate the good with the bad, otherwise we would not know, nor would we be able to fix any issues. I apologize that your stay with us was not up to our standards or your expectations. At your convenience, I would like to talk to you about your stay in detail so we may continue to strive for excellent service.
The room you stayed in was renovated this year. We installed new carpet, wall coverings, furniture, and draperies; there are 3 pieces of artwork in both the living room and bedroom. Additionally, all of our suites come fully furnished with a couch, armchair, and dining room table/chairs in the living area as well as a dresser, desk, and chair in the bedroom. The soap and shampoo are provided in the in-room dispensers inside the shower and at the vanity area. The issues raised in the utility closet have been repaired. The outside lighting issues you mentioned have also been addressed--thank you for passing that along to us. If you have any concerns in the future, please contact the front desk and we will resolve them immediately. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review, as we do appreciate the feedback and look forward to speaking with you soon.
