This is pretty decent hotel for the price and so much to offer. Each morning there was a full breakfast, including sausage, eggs, pancakes, muffins, coffee, and much more. This was so appreciative for the morning. The room were average, with some amenities of home. Don't expect these service you would normally receive at a 4 ro 5 star hotel, as this will provide temporary comfort. In the afternoon, they offer beer and buffett meals each day, very nice and free. There was plenty shopping in the area, and for Birmingham, this was one of the best attractiion for the area. There was little nightlife in the area, but you can always head downtown, which is about 3 to 4 miles away.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staf was very nice, courteous, willing to help my family. They really went above and beyond. It helped my family feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was totally "awesome"

This hotel was fine, nothing special. We stayed here for a wedding and it was convenient to all of that. It's also nice to be able to get a two bedroom suite when you are traveling with various family members.

The pillows were extraordinarily uncomfortable. I also wished there had been lotion in the toiletries selection.

My main complaint was breakfast got VERY crowded. We ended up sitting in a side room both mornings because there was no room at the breakfast tables, and people were not cleaning up the messes on the tables promptly. I think they're not used to being so full on weekends.

The smoke alarm went off in my room one morning, and neither my brother-in-law nor I could turn it off. I called the front desk, and they sent someone to look at it promptly.

DO NOT stay here. The rooms are DIRTY. The bathroom looked like something you would find in a cheap motel. Dirty floor, dirty bathtub, and mildew/mold. The carpet is disgusting. The noise is a real issue due to thin walls and proximity to the highway. The best treat of all here was the bugs that greeted me in the morning (spiders and silverfish). This is a marriott property and in shocking disarray. The management needs to get their act together. This place makes Super8 motels seem appealing. STAY AWAAY.
