Definitely the best bed on our road trip. Luxury sheets, pillow-top mattress with good support, and a full-size King bed. Had a great night's sleep.

This hotel is located in an office park/residential neighborhood east of Route 280 in Birmingham. It is a couple of miles from the 459 loop east of the city, off the road in a quiet setting. Route 280 is a major retail area, so expect lots of dining choices -- fast food, road houses, and higher end dining at The Summit shopping center near the 459/280 interchange. We had steak and seafood at The Village Tavern, very good.

If you are a sports fan, you will LOVE this hotel -- ESPN in HD on a 42-inch LG TV. HBO, too. What a luxury! Nice living area with bar sink, refrigerator, desk, and L-shaped sofa with ottoman. Free, fast WiFi.

Clean facility, friendly, efficient staff, a beautifully designed room. Overall, a very good break from the road.

We had to stay overnight due to an outpatient surgery early the next morning. The room was more than comfortable, and the linens and bedding were superb. I wished we could have stayed longer. Close to restaurants and shopping. Called the hotel direct and got a better rate than available online. All updated technology in the room, and the staff was very professional and accommodating.

This was our third time to stay at the Hyatt Place Inverness. We were greeted like family by Nicole. It is a warm and light atmosphere. The room is big with a nice tv which actually has a great picture unlike most hotel tv's. Although we didn't eat dinner at the hotel the food options look good and prices look reasonable. We did eat breakfast. Love the self help kitchen setting. There is not any meats at the breakfast but the oatmeal was good along with the fruits, juices and breads. Got home and realized my daughter left her retainer in the room. Nicole, Angie and Carolyn went to work and are in the process shipping them to us. They all acted like it was no problem at all. We will only be staying at the Hyatt Place Inverness when traveling I-20 in the future. Thank you to the entire staff!

I stayed at the Hyatt Place Birmingham/Inverness on business for 2 nights. The service was out of this world. I stay at "top brand" hotels frequently and this hotel was suburb. The service from the front desk staff was exceptional. They treated me as a "5 star" guest from asking me if I wanted a tour of the property, getting the elevator for me and printing me out restaurant recommendations. Additionally, each time I called down from my room, someone answered quickly and provided me the information I requested. Additionally, the housekeeping staff was wonderful and everything was so crisp and clean. I would strongly recommend this hotel and I have high expectations and the Hyatt Place Birmingham met those expectations.
