My sister and I just returned home from Alabama. We stayed at the Days Inn for 5 nights. I booked online because of it's location to the hospital where my father was. I have to say that I am surprised by the reviews. Our experience was overall a positive one.
The room was clean and fresh. The maid was very helpful and overaccomodating.
The checkin was nice too.
I do have to say that the hookers that other people wrote about is true. When my sis and I were having breakfast several of them wandered into the lobby to make waffles. They were obnoxious and quite a spectacle. They kept saying that they could not find CoCo and they didn't know what room she was in.
There was one weird man on the third floor that was checking everything out but he never did anything to us nor did we ever feel in danger.
The location of this hotel is in a 'hood. I would not go out alone.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of the other "guests". If the management could control the hookers and seedy people, then I would recommend it. But the hookers were weird. I am glad that my husband was not there as he would have kicked them out himself.

My daughter and I traveled from Pigeon Forge, Tn. We made the reservation on the phone, not seeing the Motel. We arrived there Sat. night, Sept.11. First, I drove around the parking lot to check it out. There was a man on the second floor balcony checking us out. Someone you would not want to meet in the dark. As we went to the other side, there was a iron gate locked, where two men without shirts,were trying to squeeze thru. They looked like dope heads. The lights outside the rooms were so dim, you could not even see the room numbers. We did not even get out. They will not refund my money. But our lives are worth alot more than what that room cost. DO NOT STAY THERE.IS IS DANGEROUS AND A DUMP.

Operators of the hotel were no help with problems on the property. Breakfast area filthy with over flowing trash cans, tables dirty. Had to pull a gun on a black man trying to get into my room. People hanging around on the walkways drinking outside of my room. Was asked a number of times for money in the parking lot from people just "hanging out".

I booked this hotel online because it looked nice and clean and the pictures it showed were very inviting! I totally agree with the majority of the people here.....THIS ROOM WAS BEYOND NASTY!!!!! The tub was stopped up, so I showered in standing water with black stuff all over the tub, on the hand held shower head, it was yellow, but had greasy black looking stuff on it!! the ironing board looked like a cat had pissed all over it....ewww so nasty. There wasn't a thing in the room that was dusted, and hadn't been in some time. The bathroom floor was so wet I almost slipped and fell!!! The toilet had not been cleaned in weeks....and was nasty even on the outside and under the seat.....I cleaned it before I even sat on it!! There were 3 major light bulbs out, so I only had the bathroom and the desk light. I really like reading and it was impossible to do on the bed with no light!!! I was so mad, I called and told them I wanted towels right now and light bulbs too! Also I requested a smoking room and they gave me a non-smoking room, so when my hubby went to get the towels he also got me a ashtray. It smelled so badly, and not like cigarette smoke, just nasty!!! The man refused to fix the lights that night, said he would take care of it in the morning. Acted like I was was a bad person for complaining....it was just sickening! I hated it and will NEVER stay there again. If I had come here first and read the reviews I would not have stayed there at all, and why I didn't, I don't know!! Valuable lesson learned....always read the reviews when booking online!!
