We walked in off the street (no reservation) on our way back home to Georgia. The motels next door were booked so we tried it. The lady at the front desk was really nice and gave us they key to a room with 2 double beds. Things didn't turn bad until we went inside the room. The second we approached the door it was covered with reddish-purple stains (not sure what) and paint spackle stains. We still went in to look at what we'd just paid $65 for. It was awful. The room was dingy, dark and very dirty. The floor had obviously not been vaccuumed in months, if ever. Crumbs covered the nightstand. I pulled down the comforters to look at the sheets and almost vomited. One comforter had a huge urine stain on and the sheets/pillows to both beds were covered with hairs and stains of varying colors. Oh and 2 pubic hairs were on the telephone. It was late at night but I refused to stay there. Everything in Birmingham was full that night so we ended up driving a little outside town to Pell City where we were able to find nice, clean accomodations. But the Park Inn at the airport in Birmingham is disguisting. Do not recommend to anyone for any reason.
