I stayed at the hotel Jan 25-27 for a meeting with 7 others and we all experienced horrible customer service.
When I arrived I stood at the desk and was never acknowledged by the kid at the front desk who was speaking to a construction man, after 5 minutes or so the construction person said , “You can go ahead and help her ad then we will finish”. I had notified the hotel that I would be arriving by 1pm and requested an early check-in. When I told the kid at the front desk I was checking in his response was, it is not time yet and we were fully booked last night. I told him that I had requested an early check-in but understand if there were no rooms available, his response, “You’ll just have to wait until I can see if we have anything ready”.
Once I finally did get to check-in, I had to go back down to the front desk twice because my key would not work. Later I figured out that you just had to keep trying it 5 – 6 times and then it would work. You can hear every little noise in the hallway and adjoining rooms (could hear the person in the next room snoring). They also have a fire-pit and you could hear the people sitting outside talking around it till 1am.
Icing on the cake was that the elevators quite working during our stay. We came in front dinner, 7 of us walked past the front desk to the elevator and pressed the button to go up. We were all talking and not really paying attention till after several minutes we realized that there was nothing happening with the elevator. A maintenance man happened to walk by and noticed us and told us that the elevator was out of service….not sure why the person at the front desk could not have told us this when we walked right by her! Again when we tried to us the elevator in the morning it was still not working and no signs were even posted.
All in all I would hope you could expect better service at any hotel in the area and I would try them before staying at this hotel again.
