I visited the website for this hotel and it looked very decent. I arrived for check-in and was shocked at what was before me. This place should be shut down by the health department. Upon entering the room, it had an awful mildew smell and the cleaning lady must have been fired months ago. Needless to say, I returned to the front desk and cancelled the two rooms that I had reserved and found another suitable hotel. You get what you pay for!! I would not recommend this place to anyone...not even a homeless individual.

“Avoid this hotel”

Hotel is in very bad shape. Mirror was hanging off wall and lamps looks like something out of the 60's. Holes in wall under bed. Steps going to 3rd floor stinks. Only hotel available for Taladega race and now i know why.
AVOID staying here!!!

We had reservations here for the Talladega race...upon our inspection of the rooms, there were holes in the walls and bathroom doors, stains on the sheets, holes in bed linens, and what looked to be rodent feces on a pillow. This place was so unbearable we had to demand our money back and risk sleeping in our car for the evening!

I should have known that a motel with rooms still available at a low price just before Talladega races was not worth staying in. As soon as we drove up you could see that the place was falling apart. The door to our room had been pried open and would not shut very well. The carpet was sticky and the towels were to small. I wore my socks the whole time. I am a travel agent and I will not be sending any clients here.
If I could have gotten a room somewhere else, I would have.
