No hot water in bathroom. very dirty. Restaurant dosn't work all time. lack of eletricity. noisy at night. no kind of service. High price for no service. No pool.

The hotels in the town are generally expensive and basic, this is because obviously is a remote place in the middle of the dessert. This particular hotel gives you something else, it is much more comfortable than others (design rooms) and spectacular swimming pool by the bar, very conveniente in the dessert.

The staff is fantastic, very atentive and would help you with any matter. It is a small hotel (only 12 rooms) and therefore they are always there to help. The building and installations are very well decorated, dessert-style. Breakfast is good for what is available in the area. The free internet is a real plus, although it does not work very fast.

Though we were the only guests we got no service at all and in the end we found out that they had taken a lot of our property. We called from Santiago and asked them to send the missing items to our friends there, but they could not even remember us the day after we had left. Several calls - also in Spanish - remained without success.

I reserved this hotel, LA ALDEA, for my parents to stay in for two nights when visiting from Canada. We arrived to find the room to be dirty, the sheets stained, and the pool closed because it was too dirty. We decided not to stay. We were assured by the reception staff that my parents' credit card would be refunded. Not only did they not refund their card, but they charged my parents double the quoted price. We have been fighting to get their money back ever since. I would not be advertising this hotel and would certainly not recommend it to anybody. They have lied, stolen, and misled us for months. Not only this, but the hotel itself is poorly cleaned, and certainly not worth $180.00 US a night.

I strongly suggest you not support this business. I will certainly tell anyone I know in Canada about my experience with them.
