Another hotel on the tourist trail in Cambodia. Not bad by local standards. Clean roomy and everything worked this time. Our room had curtains over a small window overlooking an indoor corridor..... OK but at least it was quiet and only one night.
Try the 'Smoking pot' for eating, pretty good. No, they don't do that stuff, much to the disappoint ment of our american friend.All central stuff is an easy walk. Big plus, you can get freshly baked croissants etc. down the road in the morning. The bamboo railway is a must, just check your insurance for dangerous recreational activities.

we stayed at the Teo for one night, we had a double without windows, bathroom was very simple but decent, bed large and air conditioning was working, there's no breakfast, and most of the (limited) staff though ehlpfl doesn't speak other than khmer. yet for 7 dollars each you can't ask for luxury, perfect as budget overnight.
wifi available for free.

enjoyed our stay. room was old but clean. functional, liked the daily laundry. everything worked ok - but it did fry our hair dryer. free wi-fi in our room, lobby. easy access to market and shopping. tuk-tuks everywhere.

Ok, it's not the most attractive of motels, but the rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need, hot water, air conditioning, a spacious bathroom, TV and laundry service.

The setup reminded me of a hospital but otherwise I have no complaints. It's a short walk from the outdoor eating place by the river which offers good honest and cheap meals, a great place to eat where the locals eat. It's close enough to the town centre but away from the noise.

There's also a restaurant downstairs which is pretty handy and a fair amount of space for parking, which is great as it's safe to park your scooter there if you're renting one. And if you're adventurous, make your way up to the top floor which opens out to the rooftop, handy place for smokers :)
