The room is good, clean and the bed is comfortable. There are the usual amenities (bath kit, pen, hair dryer, etc). But the telephone didn`t work (and it was not fixed until we left) and the bathroom has only a plastic curtain, that isn`t enough to avoid the whole place to get soaked when the shower is on. The breakfast is simple. Because of all this and location (not really near to interesting points in São Paulo nor to the subway station), it should be a lot cheaper. The service in the front desk is good.

Very good hotel, business oriented.
Room: pretty big to accomodate 1 couple and 1 child (small extra bed), very good shower, bathroom quite small but fairly new towels and nice toilletries;
Bed: very big (king size, I think) and confy;
Breakfast: so so... did not like the fruits (did not seem ripe) neither the meats (I tried the turkey breast and was not good);
Staff: very pleasant and attentious;
Location: I used to live in São Paulo and the hotel is in a very nice area and pretty well located, with easy access to subway, Paulista Avenue, Marginal Tietê, etc...

Tip: go to a grocery store and buy some water and other stuff. The choices on mini-bar and hotel´s convinience store are not wide.

We checked into the HIE with a group of 8. No problems with reservations and the desk staff spoke English very well. Rooms very nicely accommodated and clean. Room service was prompt each of the 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast was typical Brasilian fare, nice variety, but no other meals offered at the hotel. It was a very nice change from the rooms at the Ibis where we usually stay. We will definitely return if in this area of Sao Paulo again.

I was in Brazil for a business trip and took the opportunity to stop by Sao Paolo for 3 nights to see the city. As I always stay with IHG Hotels, I redeemed some of my bonus points to stay at this HIE at Sumare Ave.

The Hotel is clean, beds comfortable, breakfast not bad, rooms well equipped (TV, AC, Safe, Hairdryer, Desk, Mini bar, etc.) and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped me out with everything from transport to how to get tickets for a football game.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area and transportations are quite good. There is a bus stop just 1 min walk away and a metro stop about 10 min walk away. There is also a supermarket and some restaurants in the area. The hotel is not so centrally located, but with good options for transportations I didn't find that to be a problem.

All in all, I am very happy with my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
