Stayed here which visiting Sao Paulo and it is a very good hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is very close to both Consolação metro station and is withing Jardins area where many of the best shops/restaurants are. Complimentary parking, wifi and breakfast while still being a good value hotel. Beds are confortable and the hotel is pretty quiet. Only negative was on one night when we returned late, we only got up at around 3pm meaning our room was not cleaned. However I expect it would have been had we asked.

This hotel is what you´d expect for an older building: spacious rooms, very silent but carpet on the floor. Decent enough breakfast. Nice staff. Would return!

THE AVERAGE
The breakfast is good, but unspetacular.
Price sounds about right for the city (which is very expensive, btw)

THE UGLY
Lobby is very small, with no Lobby bar whatsoever
Air conditioning only (no heating). Night was cold and it made a difference!

Excelent cost-benefit.
Only 1 block from Paulista Avenue, near to subway station (essential in Sao Paulo).
Near to several good restaurants, with a charming (but small) public park at a walking distance.
An easy place to go by taxi, about 5 miles from domestic flights airport.
People at the front desk are very kind and try to do everything to please the guests.
The room is not big (some 300sqft), but is a nice place to stay.

Typical hotel for business travellers: practical, spacious rooms, comfortable, charmless and well located for those who need to work at Paulista Avenue area or wish to use the metro/subway. Breakfast is regular.

Pros: in room sitting area with sofa, work table with chair, and a kitchenette set with microwave oven, nice bed.

Cons: slow service at front desk.
