I spend two days overther, nice place , not as good for a 500 usd night but anyway, decent place to stay, service is very good, rooms ok, I expect more from them but any way, the issue was that I expect only two nights and then after when I was back in my home I got three charges for 1500, 4000 and 5000 USD from this hotel, fortunatelly my credit card company stop it and this fraud did not go through, I called the hotel and let them know this issue and they said they have no information or intereest to follow up, since they were the only place I paid with my credit card, they were the one who clonned, I suppose when I pay at the restaurant, so be carefull.

Thank you for choosing InterContinental São Paulo Hotel during your recent visit to Brazil and for having taken your time to write your review.
It is great that you enjoyed our facilities and the place where the hotel is.
Certainly you are in the best city area and hotels’ rates have gone upwards due to the Brazilian economy recovery and to the high demand we have had recently.
It is highly important for us to receive our guests’ comments due to the fact that it enables us to target problem areas and take necessary actions to ensure similar situations to be avoided in the future.
IHG and InterContinental São Paulo follow a strict compliance rule (Payment Card Industry) to protect personal information and ensure security when transactions are processed and it means that we are in accordance with the safety rules, management, politics, procedures, software safety and other protection measures required by the credit card administrators companies.
The credit card administrator was duly notified and we have checked all the terminals and no irregular situations were found. However we are aware and also we have already reinforced our safety procedures to avoid any possible drawbacks.
It is worth noting that so far we haven’t received any notifications from our guests regarding the same drawback and we have never been contacted.
