I stayed at the hotel twice spanning a total of 5 nights on a business trip. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. The first time I was on the 3rd floor, where there was a lot of traffic noise and the room was small, old, had dirty carpets and an unpleasant bathroom. The second time I stayed on the 13th floor, which resolved the traffic issue. The room was a bit bigger and a little nicer, but the carpet was filthy and the bathroom was in desparate need of updating/upgrading. Breakfast was good. Internet was very cheap. I was shocked that the bar did not have any red wine to speak of. The staff were helpful, and the lobby was pleasant. I'm not too picky about rooms, but this just wasn't up to standard for a business traveller's hotel.

Good plentiful breakfast. Helpful reception. Small and dirty swimming pool on hotel’s top floor. Nice location in Ibirapuera-Moema neighborhood. Reasonable hotel for what you pay.

The rooms were a good size with a separate sitting room from the beds. There was a small pool on the room which was nice. The gym equipment was older but it did the job. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. Great location! I would definately stay there again.

I booked a room at the Estanplaza Ibirapuera because it ranks very high in Tripadvisor's "Hotels in Sao Paulo". However i must say i cannot agree with the high rating. The hotel is not bad, yet does not deserve to be among the top.
The rooms are quite old and the bathrooms not very pleasant. Food in the hotel is avoidable and breakfast is mostly cold. There is an ill-equipped gym and the world's smallest "swimming pool", hardly bigger than a jacuzzi.
At the same time, the area in which the hotel is located is very nice with many good restaurants and bars. It also seemed one of the nicer neighbourhoods of Sao Paulo and very safe.Staff in the hotel are exceptionally helpful.
