Myself, my wife, and our 1 year old son stayed here for a few nights in May 2011. The hotel was well maintained with clean nicely outfitted rooms, a good buffet breakfast, and friendly english speaking front desk staff. The location is great, just a block and a half off of Av Paulista right near MASP and Triannon Park with a Starbucks just a half block away. The neighborhood felt quite safe and it was a great starting point from which to explore the city. The price was very reasonable for the area (Paulista area hotels are generally more expensive than others in the city) and we would definitely recommend it to others. The only real negative for us was the internet speed which was standard hotel fare (i.e. acceptable but not that great).

This bussines hotel is a standart bussiness hotel with a decent room (but bathrooms should update),good complementary breakfast and free in-room wi-fi. But location is its best. Few steps from restaurants and 1 block away from the best Paulista Ave block. If you get a nice rate, this typical bizz-chain-hotel will not disappoint you.

I saw the reviews on this Hotel and I decided to stay in it because of the great ratings in the location. They where right!... it's about 1/2 block from Av. Paulista, just around the corner from Intercontinental Hotel and so you can imagine it is an exclusive neighborhood but it's also close to the touristic, commercial and business area. If you're traveling as I did, with low budget (please notice that this is an expensive city) it is also 1 1/2 blocks from the metro station. So this is what makes me rate it high. In the other hand, for a $200 a night, from my previous experience traveling, I expected at least a 3 or 4 stars hotel; please, please just don't have those expectations! It is way far from that! 1 on cleanliness, medium service (most of them tried to be nice and they where, but some didn't know a thing about costumer service; some of the desk receptionist speak Spanish which was good for me but nobody speaks English, get your dictionary with you). Breakfast was very good, very complete. Despite all of that I would stay again in that hotel for the location. Hope you enjoy Sao Paulo.

I stayed at the Quality Hotel Jardins, Mercure Jardins, and Quality Imperial Suites during September and October of 2009. Please see my reviews of each if you are comparing them. The Quality Hotel Jardins was a perfectly acceptable hotel. The rooms were included a loveseat, work area with computer internet access (wired only), a large bed, and a TV (not flat screen) on a swivel pedestal. The bathroom was a little small, but acceptable. The room was generally clean. The hotel is not new, and you can see small dings on the walls and some wear, but it's not noticeably bad either. The staff was really exceptional. In fact, I would say that the staff outshines that of the other two hotels. They were always easy to access, very friendly, and allowed me a very late checkout (6 pm) on my day of departure. By comparison, the Mercure Jardins was going to charge me over R100 for that privilege.

I would conclude that the Quality Imperial Suites was probably the best family hotel since it has the largest rooms, although the service was not very good -- very long lines, rooms weren't ready on time. The Mercure Jardins was probably the nicest newest business hotel, with courteous staff. And finally, the Quality Jardins was a business hotel that was a little dated, but had exceptional staff and service. All were in very convenient locations, although both the Mercure Jardins and Quality Jardins have some seedy sections of town nearby.
