“Very good overall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We got there from a booking.com deal. I was afraid it would be old and ill maintained like the Othons, but I was extremely pleased to see that my fear was unfounded. Even though the facilities were not in pristine shape (I.e. pool had some algae and seemed to lack chlorine, TV was not properly plugged in but easy to fix, shower showed some signs of wear), the overall state of everything was good to excellent. I notified the reception about the pool issue and they promised to look into it, but I didn't have the chance to check it afterwards.

The staff was extremely kind and attentive.

The location is excellent (at least for me): many restaurants and a supermarket at walking distance, drugstore across the street and a 15 min walk to Iguatemi Shopping.

The window glass is not doubled, so the room is a little vulnerable to excessive street noise.

Rooms use the annoying card activated system where you need to leave a card in the slot for appliances to work. Since it affects the A/C, it forces me to rig the system to keep it on.

Free Wi-Fi Internet in the room, but only available to one device at a time.

Room Tip: Try to get a room as far from the street as possible. Keep a card in the slot to be sure to have a f...

“Fantastic hotel. Great location. Excellent service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

I had a great stay at this hotel. The service was really good. The gym and pool on the 25th floor had incredible views of the city. For breakfast, I would recommend the cafe next door. The location is good - close to some good restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: Try to get a higher floor for great views.

“Good location, good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

One of the best hotels in a fairly safe area. Hotel offers large, comformsable and quite rooms. Good bar downstairs. Nice gym and a tiny swimming pool on the top floor. Several bistrots, restaurants and coffee shops nearby ("Ofner" is good a bakery located right beside the hotel, but their cappucino sucks).

Room Tip: Higher floors are the best ones

“Too expensive for what it is...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

The rates are way too much for the kind of hotel. The walls are too thin and you can almost hear the person snoring next door... So if you are a light sleep kind of person you won't like this.

Room Tip: Be aware of the traffic in the morning and in the evening and also for being a NOT safe area to walk...

“Ideally located and nice for a busines trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

I stayed two nights in this hotel. Very practcal despite the traffic in Sao Paulo. The fitness room is nice and has been renovated not a long time ago. Please make sure however to get a room on an upper floor to avoid to noise of the street, but not too high because of the helipad...
Did not try the breakfast, but had feedbacks that it was good...
