This hotel was nice -- clean. The rooms were just average, nothing spectacular about them, although they were quite large. The outdoor pool area was quite nice, though when I was there the water was quite cold so I did not go in. Also, doesn't seem as the pool area gets much sun during the day, but again that could have been due to the time of year I was there. Breakfast was nice, ate in the restaurant once. Fitness center small but adequate. Elevators seemed very small, old, and slow. And, internet was quite slow.
This hotel was not located directly in Sao Paulo, rather in the outskirts or a suburb (think it was Itaim Bibi). It seems as central Sao Paulo was quite far. It was a stones throw away from the Vila Olimpia shopping mall, so that is a nice "thing to do" nearby. Some locals said the neighborhood the hotel was in is quite safe, and it seemed safe to walk around at night.
Overall it was an ok hotel, nothing impressive. If I return for business I'd consider this hotel again for familiarity, but I'd want to consider staying in central Sao Paulo if that was feasible for me.
