Comfortable airy hotel in Centro, Sao Paulo. within easy walking distance to small shops, stores, cafes, cinemas, Republic Park and subway, etc.
Location is in Centro, therefore a long taxi ride from or to the International Airport (GRU) At this time of 2012 the cost was approx R$85.
This part of Centro is busy and safe during the day. but a bit lonely at night after the shops and offices close.
The Hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful.
Several clean, fast, elevators service the floors.

I stayed here for a convention held here. The location is excellent, a long block away from Republica and a short walk away from the small street of Italian restaurants.

The one complaint I have is the understaffing of the reception desk. During most of my five night stay, there were usually rather long lines for check in and out. I was dreading my departure but fortunately when I left, on early Monday morning, there were no lines. The hotel was rather packed with various convention groups.

The free wifi was slow in the rooms but there was wifi coverage in the convention rooms. Breakfast was good quality with good juices. I wish they had more hot foods.

Is a nice hotel, updated on a historic building that was before one of the largest newspapers of Brasil.

The space was very nicely updated, with a theater ( I would prefer a centerplex) , a restaurant, bar and convention rooms inside.

The recipe is perfect, but the planning miscalculated the parking services and front desk. In the morning for check-out the lines can be too long.

The rooms are great, very well designed and confortable, everything was clean also, but the blanket had holes on it, a shame!!
It is located at the old dowtown , with not very much nice options to go walking, except for Avanhandava street and the Mancini's restaurants. Upper floors are less noisy.

It's a good hotel like others from Novotel's Accor. Good location and service. I recommend.
