With super spacious rooms (bedroom and living room for all) and a fabulous location in one of Sao Paulo's best neighbourhoods (Jardins), this is easily one of the best cost-benefit hotels in Sao Paulo. Mind you, it's not close to the Metro, but with free wifi and Googlemaps now providing bus travel information, even those wanting to avoid taxis will be well-served.
Ask for a room facing the Ibirapuera park for lovely views of not only the park but also of the lush Jardins neighbourhood, a tree-covered house-only anomaly of an area in high-rise dominated Sao Paulo.
We weren't too impressed by the breakfast, which for Brazilian standards lacks a bit of quality, but the service was excellent, and the room service sandwiches are very good value.
We found the bathroom and room very clean, the shower excellent with a very strong water flow, and the bed large but not amazing, as it's a standard spring mattress which bounces a little bit when your partner moves around... The only other real improvement point for the hotel would be to improve the pool and gym area, which have a very abandoned and poorly-kept feel to them.
