I was a guest at this hotel for several months, and repeated caught "Nedia" the Front Desk Manager and reservations staff in repeated lies about availability of rooms. We had other locals call for rooms and they were given confirmation numbers 277670 & 277676 for the exact same dates that I needed additional night stays.
No wonder the service and staff moral is so low at the desk, because at the top you have a Manager who will repeatedly lie through her teeth in your face. This hotel and the general service at the desk will be so much better, the day someone has the courage to get rid of her!!!
Room Tip: Avoid dealing with her at all cost!!!

We appreciate to receive your comments regarding your stay at the Mercure São Paulo Vila Olimpia. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, please allow me to express our sincerest apologies.
Maybe happens a miss undesrtading, because during the week it is very difficult to confirm some reservation directly at the front desk. We recommend the client make the reservation with 1 week in advance. Sometimes we see guest canceling the reservation on the check in day, maybe that happens with this two reservation you mentioned.
