“Front Office & Reservations Managers Are Liars & Racists”

I was a guest at this hotel for several months, and repeated caught "Nedia" the Front Desk Manager and reservations staff in repeated lies about availability of rooms. We had other locals call for rooms and they were given confirmation numbers 277670 & 277676 for the exact same dates that I needed additional night stays.

No wonder the service and staff moral is so low at the desk, because at the top you have a Manager who will repeatedly lie through her teeth in your face. This hotel and the general service at the desk will be so much better, the day someone has the courage to get rid of her!!!

Room Tip: Avoid dealing with her at all cost!!!

We appreciate to receive your comments regarding your stay at the Mercure São Paulo Vila Olimpia. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, please allow me to express our sincerest apologies.

Maybe happens a miss undesrtading, because during the week it is very difficult to confirm some reservation directly at the front desk. We recommend the client make the reservation with 1 week in advance. Sometimes we see guest canceling the reservation on the check in day, maybe that happens with this two reservation you mentioned.

“Bathroom no good”

Bathroom is outdated, walls seem dirty/moldy .

Toiletry products offered are few and very poor quality. There is no bathrobe.

Lobby very small and busy. Elevators and check-in counter are facing each other just 5 feet away.

Restaurant has excellent service !

Rooms are on the small side for a Mercure hotel, bur the price is right. Airplane noise can be heard through closed windows (Congonhas airport is nearby - R$20,00 taxi ride to and from the hotel). Hotel is well located in a safe neighborhood.

“Good businees hotel”

I stayed two nights in Sao Paulo for Business.
After staying the first night in a cheap hotel, a colleague of mine recommended me the Mercure hotel. This hotel was a great choice
The check-in took a little bit longer due to the language.
The room was great. Everything was clean and modern furnished.
I enjoyed every moment in this hotel.
The location is great. Safe area and a lot of nice boutiques around.
There are also good restaurants close by.
If you get a chance try the Jardineira Grill.
The best meat in town.

“Good enough for coming back”

I normally stay in this hotel in SP when I am there on business - as the office i work at is close. It is a good hotel for a few nights stay - excellent breakfast, good restaurants nearby, good service at the hotel. Very flexible service and no complaints from me..
A god thing - internet - even if being slow is really cheap if you pay for several days.
