I really like this hotel. It is next door to the park so I can go running every day. This is normally tough to do in Sao Paulo. I would stay here every time. But the hotel is older, rooms are tiny, has not been redone recently, and should be reclassified as an Ibis. It really does not meet the standards of what I would expect in a Novotel.

Iam frequently (10 nights per months) traveling around the world.
Novotel is usually equal to quality and no bad surprise.

This one : from Novotel it has just the expensive price.
Windows are of a such low quality for an hotel so close to the noisy street !
Breakfast :It is not a Novotel, maybe not even a bad Ibis.

Mercure Capote Valente is even better.

This is the worst Novotel i have ever stayed in and would not recommend or stay here again.
The door handle fell off in my room and I was stuck inside for 20 mins unable to reach reception by phone. I was told later for reception you phone 9 but no where in the room was that information.
The bathroom was far from clean, breakfast very average and all in all ...HORRIBLE.

This place is literally on the freeway and bloody noisy. It gets worse when it rains. The windows don't help at all so if your accustomed to sleeping with noise then this your place.
It may be located in the city but nothing is walking distance. The park may be located close by but good luck trying to cross the freeway.
If you are vegetarian, as in no meat, fish or chicken, then be prepared to have a lot of dry, cold stuff like bread, cakes and breads and cakes and..if u order an omelet then u r going to get charged extra even thought front desk might tell u otherwise.
If u plan to use the health faucet in ur bathroom then get ready for a wet floor coz the thing continuously drips even after u stop using it.
The wifi net access..well..strictly ordinary and continuously gets disconnected. On the last day I made the mistake of buying a 24 hour plan thinking that even though I'll check out I'll stay in the hotel restaurant for some meeting and get my work done as I had a late flight. But the second u check out u can't use the wifi even though u have paid for it and the dude of a manager with no sense of customer service refused to accommodate my request to let me use something I have already paid for, nor gave me a refund nor a new connection at no charge.
Having meetings in this hotel restaurant is a bad idea if you are hoping for any service.
They had a new menu..with just 2 vegetarian dishes.
Almost no one speaks English so if u don't know Portuguese then good luck getting anything.
Beware, the gym and the tennis courts are in the hotel adjacent to it.
Will I stay there again..ha!
