“Not a nice place to stay”

I was on business in Sao Paulo and stayed at the hotel for a week. At first glance is a nice hotel, but once you get inside is not. The room was big but the heater was broken so the room was freezing during the night. Moreover, every evening when I returned from work I found the windows open so it was already cooler than comfortable.
The hotel lobby roof panels were off and covered with a piece of paper and tape, which was disgusting, even in the breakfast area. By the way, the breakfast was the only thing nice and complete.
Also, the hotel had a policy to make you pay each time you surpassed $500 USD, which was really annoying.

In this hotel in Sao Paulo, nobody monitors security surveillance cameras. I lost my bag with a laptop from a thief who replaced it with an empty brief bag while I was having breakfast in Intercity Premium Berrini hotel restaurant. The same thief also took the laptop of another guest (a consultant) at the same time. When the surveillance video was played by the hotel manager, together with its two absentee security contractors, we saw a well dressed man pretending to be a guest who took advantage of the horde of guests in the restaurant to steal our computers. This crime could have been prevented and the thief caught had hotel security is monitoring the surveillance camera especially during busy hours. Security camera is good only if someone is monitoring on real time. The hotel manager did not even offer any form of consolation to us for what happened except for apologies ( the manager and security contractors accompanied us to the police). My feeling is that this is a usual occurrence in this hotel. Lesson learned: not to bring your bag into public places like a hotel restaurant such as Intercity Premium Berrini. Besides lack of security, the hotel is otherwise clean and decent, but I believe guests' security, especially in Brazil, should be paramount. This hotel, definitely, does not appear to have that sense of priority. Be extra cautious should you decide to stay in this hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent if you intend to do business around Berrini (Brooklyn) and Vila Olimpia area in São Paulo. The hotel parking is great, efficient, all seems very clean and I don't have anything that bad to complain about it.

However, the standard room is too poor for my taste. They could do better by default. If you want a better room, you need to pay extra and they don't give you a better room if you have a prepaid staying from third parties. It's a shame.

Breakfast is very good. If you don't mind a simple room or if you wanna pay extra for a better one, you can choose this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel as I was wanting to go to the Canadian Embassy, My husband had an interview there. Which is nearby but all the other hotels that were close by were soooo expensive... for ex the Hilton was R$500 per night.. This hotel was walking distance, affordable and Very Nice. I was very impressed with their service. It was an amazing experience. I stayed 10nights at this hotel and I certainly would go back again!
Its good for short stay... long stay.. business trip... Beleive me this can meet anyones needs! Staff are friendly and VERY helpful. I certainly felt like they went an extra way to please me. If you dont want to eat at the hotel there is a retaurant just down the street and Morumbi Shopping Mall is very nearby....

You can book this one with your eyes closed check in and enjoy your stay!

“Finally a room...”

We´ve booked a room 7 days in advance, and when we arrived in the hotel, at 3 AM, with a small kid, our room was not ready yet.
They gave us a room, and when we tried to enter - surprise - a couple was sleeping in that room !!!
Then, then gave us another room, and - surprise - it was not clean, the bed was a mess, etc.
Finally, we tried a third room, and finally we could sleep!
They not even looked sorry for all the mistakes.

The breakfast on Sunday was a nightmare. No glasses, no juice, no cheese, no dishes, no eggs, no nothing. The plates were empty.

Please, stay in some other place.
