I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. However, some of the extras are very expensive. I just spent 100 dollars to wash seven shirts and a pair of pants using their laundry service, and the guys at reception charged me 10 dollars for 20 blank pieces of letter paper from their laser printer.

This was my fifth stay at this property! First as Parthenon then Matiz and now InterCity.
This is a great place to stay! Very nice breakfastbuffet. FREE Hi-speed internett. Lots of english TV channels (news and entertainment). Very nice staff, some speak english. As its name states you get a flat, one small bedroom and livingroom with a kitchenette + a very nice bathroom. Shower only but what a shower! The flats are in very good condition.
The location is perfect! You can walk to downtown in 20 min. It takes 5 -10 min and then you are on Paulista, its a little hill up to Paulista, but its downhill going home! Everything at this place works! Nice pool, a small gym with a sauna. They also offer parking in the basement. And the rate is low! (165 BRL ++)I have also stayed at Mercure The Excellence, same room but not the same nice service and not this location location location!
