“Good :-)”

Stayed in 104 for 4 nights. Spacious room, good bed, fridge big enough to stick your own drinks in, microwave, 32" flatscreen TV. Really excellent gym and 1,5km green area in the middle of the road to run on I you want to get outside a bit. Didn't try the Bellini restaurant but have been told it is really excellent. Only (very small) inconvenience was that the elevators take ridiculously long to come to your floor. Would definitely stay here again.

“Consistent yet Unremarkable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

The rating is based on other Brazilian hotels in the area (not the hotels of North America.. the cultures and experiences are different and that is how it is supposed to be).
I stay here often on business. Very happy to see they are expanding. Strongly recommend you request a room in the new portion as the old section is rather noisy. Wooden floors give way to large openings under doors which let in a substantial amount of noise just because of design... Japanese restaurant on site is wonderful and is heavily frequented by locals (always a good sign). Italian restaurant on site has great ambiance but seems to be out of many items on the menu each time I attempt to dine there. Both are somewhat pricey but just expect it and you wont be caught off guard. Location is convenient and everyone knows where it is so your business colleagues won't have trouble finding you.
Fitness center was nice but some machines needed repair or weight stack keys. Dont try to use it between 5:00 and 7:00 because it will likely be crammed packed with guests.

Room Tip: Request a room in the renovated section to avoid noisy hallways.

“Average Hotel, but nice restaurants”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last couple of years. They are currently in the middle of a major expansion to double the size. I am not sure if this will change the facilities, but they really need it. The room is very basic, but clean. The location is central and very close to the restaurant district. The Restaurants in the hotel are both excellent. The Kandai has the best sushi in Campinas. The steak house is also very good. Overall, it suits needs for business, but there are nicer hotels in Campinas

Room Tip: Beds and furniture are very dated

“Well located business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

Vitoria Hotel Campinas delivers on most aspects what one may expect from one of the best hotels in Campinas. Front desk personnel speaks English.
Room size, interior, quality of the bed, hygiene, warm water quality and shower pressure are all good. WiFi connection was without problems and fast and the TV had a wide choice of channels. The bathroom could have been somewhat spacier. Toilet flushed perfect which cannot be said of all toilets in Brazil, even in the better hotels
The only annoying point is the noise from the bathrooms from other rooms and contact noises from chairs movend on the floors. Noise of traffic at night is not a problem.
There are 2 restaurants next to the hotel, one of which is Japanese. There are more good places to eat in the close vicinity and it is safe to walk.
