Hotel and room were clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous and helpful. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby, but need to get new sign-on every hour. Rooms are typically cleaned in the late morning or afternoon, so you don't have to remember to put out the "Don't Disturbed" sign if you are sleeping late or have late meetings. Only drawback is that the hotel is somewhat isolated from places to see or socialize. Need to have transportation to go anywhere.

“Pretty basic”
This hotel is pretty basic. Has everything you need I guess-- a bed, a bathroom, cable television and WiFi— and it's clean. People are the desk are very nice but not helpful. Food is really bad. How can coffee in Brazil be so terrible? There is no lobby to speak of and nowhere comfortable to meet with friends or colleagues. The Ibis is right off a highway which is a shame since there are so many walkable neighborhoods in Campinas--this just isn't one of them!

“Good hotel and good location”
We needed a place to stay for a short trip to Campinas for my wife who went to school there. We decided on Ibis since it's a big chain and assumed that it should be at least decent and that the stay would be pleasant.
As expected, the room was nice/decent and the service was good. We didn't have any issues and would gladly stay here again.
