Unfriendly staff, construction work every weekend and public holiday, no facility to relax.

This is a really good hotel in a safe suburb to Sao Paolo. The hotel restaurant was not so good but that doesn´t matter when you have a lot of other restaurants just across the road.

This place needs a major renovation. The rooms are old and dirty. My shower had mold growing and dirty tile. The bed is hard as a rock and has the old type polyester bedspread. The hotel is connected to the Radisson which I have stayed at as well the year before but it was called something else at that time. It is much nicer but higher in price bu to me worth it. So choose next door. The shared fitness center is pretty bad. Many treadmills but the belts haven't been changed in years and the temperature is about 95 degrees F.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites twice in 2008, just recently returning from a two week stay. The hotel is located in "downtown" Alphaville, with a shopping mall, a commercial and shopping area right across the street, several supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance and a car and helicopter rental agency in the main lobby.

I would classify the hotel as a solid 3+* hotel: My room, including a kitchenette, was spacious, clean with a nice big bathroom including amenities. The water regulation was difficult at times but a minor glitch. Room service was impeccable and laundry service very fast (usually same day delivery without an "express request").

Breakfast is in the basement with that what I would expect from any good Brazilian hotel: Lots of fruit, fruit juice, strong coffee and cakes. There were the usual cold cuts, cheeses, bread rolls, eggs and pao de queijo too.

The hotel shares a fitness room with the annexed Radisson hotel with the usual equipment and a small pool - a bit aged but clean and functional.

The highlight of the hotel is the staff: Attentive, friendly, knew my name within a few days, catered to any special requests I had and were sincerely happy to see me arrive the second time after having been gone for a few weeks.

I got a special ca. 200BRL rate which, with the current EUR and USD exchange rates is a steal. If you have business in Alphaville, Barueri or anywhere to the west of Sao Paulo on or near Rod. Castelo Branco, you will hardly get a better deal than this place.

I will be happy to return in 2009.
