We spent 1 week here between xmas and new year 2011/12 and it was a nice surprise!
The place is simple, but very clean and comfortable, with a nice swimming pool to refresh after the beach.
The location is very convenient, once it's about 100 meters away from the beach, and about the same distance from the village.
There are different sizes of rooms, and since we were in a group of 5 families with kids the rooms could fit families ranging from 2 to 6 people.
Some rooms have passed through renovations and look brighter than the others, but all of them seemed very clean.
Breakfast was varied with different kinds of fruits, juice, bread, cakes , ham and cheese, coffee and milk.
The hotel was nice for a simple beach vacation, and it fullfilled our spectations.
Above all I have to say that the owner, Mr Eloy made it even better. He is a very nice guy who's been very helpful and kind, anticipating our needs and making us all feel as if we were home!

Mar do leste was a great place to stay!! Extremely good value. We had a room with a bathroom, bedroom & kitchen-lounge area for 4 nights that we paid around 400 reals for.
The breakfast each morning was really nice - fruit, cakes & an assortment of breads, cheese & ham.
The pool was great for afternoon swims!!
The owner was extremely friendly & helped us out as much as possible with taxis, buses etc.
